Imagine One Announces New Vice President of Lexington Park Operations

Imagine One Technology and Management, Ltd. is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Keith Birkholz from Senior Manager to Vice President of Vertical Lift & FMS Business Unit, effective 1 December 2015. Mr. Birkholz joined Imagine One as a Senior Manager in October 2012. He has managed several programs at Imagine One, including the V-22 Osprey Joint Program Office (PMA-275) and responsible for forty nine personnel supporting PMA-275 Training Support Services contract in four dispersed sites.

His acquisition career began as a Deputy Program Manager, PMA-242, Naval Air Systems Command NAVAIR and the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for Hellfire, TOW, Maverick and Sidearm missile systems, all air-to-ground rocket and machine gun ammunition, and parachute flare programs. His next acquisition tour was as the IPT Lead for the AH-1W and then the UH-1Y and AH-1Z helicopters. Mr. Birkholz then did a tour in the Pentagon where he led teams of highly skilled requirements and action officers on the Chief of Naval Operations staff (OPNAV) as N780M and N780B and Deputy Commandant for Aviation (DC/A) staff as Aviation Program Weapons Systems Requirements (APW-1).

Mr. Birkholz’ active duty career culminated with over three years as Program Manager of PMA-276, Marine Light/Attack Helicopter Programs, an Acquisition Category One (ACAT-1D), major defense acquisition program (MDAP) at NAVAIR. Mr. Birkholz is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), he is well versed in NAVAIR’s requirements for a contractor PM, having served as the main point of contact on all customer relations as well as having provided oversight for quality product delivery and service from the teams.

Mr. Birkholz is a graduate of the Defense Acquisition University’s (DAU) Program Management Course (PMC-94-2) and the Executive Program Management Course (PMT-402B), at Fort Belvoir, VA. He is a Level Three Certified Acquisition Professional with over 15 years of government program management and business experience.
